Ownership steering and engagement with investee companies
Ownership steering refers to actions aimed at influencing the management of target companies, either directly or through representatives. These actions include, among others, exercising voting rights at the general meetings of listed companies held as investment assets, as well as collaborative engagement through investor initiatives.
Forest funds
In forestry, the main drivers of sustainability are the management of commercial forests, water protection and safeguarding forest biodiversity. UB's forest funds want to be at the forefront of responsible forest management.

Renewable Energy Fund
Managing the environmental and social impacts of renewable energy production throughout the entire project lifecycle is a cornerstone of the fund’s commitment to responsibility. The UB Renewable Energy Fund aims to be a pioneer in responsible renewable energy production and development.

Equity, fixed income and multi-strategy funds
UB monitors how investments contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The impact of equity and fixed income funds is reported in fund specific ESG quarterly reports. The monitoring takes into account all SDGs, as multi-strategy funds can contribute to several goals at the same time. Reporting and monitoring is based on the ESG data provided by Sustainalytics and Morningstar.
